The days following the death of a loved one are often exhausting and overwhelming with so many decisions to make and emotions to process in such a short time.
As your Funeral Celebrant, I am here to help.
The process is simple and uncomplicated and you will feel supported the whole way through.
#1. GETTING STARTED
We’ll begin with a phone call or an email so that you can get to know me and ask any questions that you might have.
We will discuss what type of ceremony you are planning and what my fees are. Everything is transparent and you will know up front how much my services will cost before we start.
Once you have decided that I am the right fit for your family, I will plan to meet with you in your home or by phone - whatever works best for you.
#2. SHARING
During our time together, you will have the opportunity to share your memories and stories. Other members of the family and close friends are welcome to take part.
I want to get to know who your loved one was and discover what made them so unique. We will discuss the details of the ceremony including the atmosphere you envision and if you would like to include music or other creative tributes.
#3. CREATING THE CEREMONY
Back at my office, I'll spend hours researching, writing and arranging the ceremony, making certain that every word captures your loved one’s personality and beliefs.
I will organize and create the order of service for the ceremony, working with the Funeral Director and those who play a technical part in the ceremony, making sure everyone is kept in the loop.
#4. THE DAY OF THE EVENT
When the day arrives, I will officiate the ceremony, acting as MC and delivering a fitting tribute to your loved one. You will be able to relax knowing that every detail is cared for and that the ceremony will be a meaningful experience for all.
